1. The question you should ask - does Al Quaeda still exist?
It's a CIA front.

Screwball Hawkeye-X sets the tone for a lot of the responses...

Of course. A better question is: what is the source for Al Ka Kaa's 1st nuke?

I believe it will originate in a former Soviet satellite (Chechnia?) to islamic extremists (Al quaida) by intermediate groups (Hamas?) funded by Iran.

Iran or Pakistan will provide them with their first nuke.

Let's see...
Al Qaeda is a part of a militant sect of Islam (Already a pretty militant religion even for its mainstream practitioners) that values death more than life, seeks to kill as many infidels as possible through their own deaths, and has an entire multitude of nations they would love to try and destroy (i.e. Israel, the US, any ally of either of those nations).
So, to answer the thread's question:
In a word, YES!

The question is not will they obtain and use a nuke, it will be who is our commander and chief and how will we retaliate when they detonate it.

82. OTHER: Only if the CIA needed another "New Pearl Harbor" to move Bushification alonghttp://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/images/transparent.gifBut I doubt they'll need to do that. After all, Obama isn't even slowing them down, thus paving the way for the next, more brutally totalitarian (but still, kinder and gentler and more plausibly deniable), Bushification.

LOL! I'm surprised Skinner hasn't ordered this thread hidden away. :D

Since it's still going on under Jughead wouldn't that be called "Obamafication" now Tom? :D

It's interesting that the majority of the replies say they doubt Al Qaeda even exists, but it's 84% on the poll who believe they would nuke us.

The fact that that moron is using the name Tom Paine sickens me. These people don't know the first thing about 'Tom' Paine.

I kind of question whether they will have the ability to use the nuke as intended, or whether it will blow up al Queda instead of it's target.

I don't question their desire to use nukes, though.
