I sat down to watch Fox Saturday baseball this afternoon. That was 6 hours and 17 scoreless innings ago between the Mets and Cards. This has to be some kind of record. It should end soon. The Cards are out of pitchers and have a position player on the mound.

I watched the Phillies and the Dodgers go 21 innings in 1993 and it was a night game. This was a few days after the Phils swept the Padres in a double header that ended after 3am.

OMG, I didn't think baseball could possibly get more boring than it already is. That would do it, though!

I hear people say that about scoreless games all the time. I love to watch them. It's not scoreless because people suck. It's scoreless because everyone is bringing everything they've got.

Even if baseball had scores like 143-87, it would still be the most boring game ever invented. And that's saying something, since I think most sports are boring.

After the cards were running out those position players to pitch you knew they weren't going to win. The second guy couldn't throw strikes.

This coming from a person who's only hobby is being a grammar Nazi.

Scoreless games are great. Scoreless games for 19 innings are even better. Talk about pitching.

There are folks who enjoy sports. Then there are folks who don't care about sports.

Then there is linda22003, who hates sports. She's a lib anyway, so she doesn't count........:p

Oh come on, Linda. I'd rather see a well played 2-1, 20 inning baseball game than any other sport.

But you're not a sports fan anyway, so you obviously don't get it. ;)

Some of the fondest memories with my dad was watching Atlanta Braves baseball games with him. The longer the game lasted, the better.

The only Major League game I saw was at Atlanta. Hank Aaron was there and that's about all I knew of the Braves. I wanted to see him Homer but he had maybe two long fly outs. Still, I got to see him play. @ 1978-1982 I believe.
