Original message Yes, absolutely, let's punish success.

If "success" means amassing the largest possible share of the world's wealth and resources while doing your damndest to give back just as little as you can, then hell yes, let's punish that.

If "success" means considering yourself better or more deserving than your neighbor and looking down on those who don't share your genes, circumstances, values, or whatever else, then hell yes, let's punish that.

If "success" means treating yourself to every luxury you can manage while people in the world go hungry and homeless, and while claiming it's "their own fault," then hell yes, let's punish that.

If "success" means embracing a schoolyard value system that labels some people "winners" and others "losers" and using this to deny people the necessities of a decent life, then hell yes, let's punish that.

If "success" means supporting George Bush while he committed countless crimes and ran this country into the ground just so you could get a few dollars extra back on your tax return, then hell yes, let's punish that.

Punish success? If it's the right-wing American version, throw the book at it.

Typical DUmmie thinking:

If "success" means treating yourself to every luxury you can manage while people in the world go hungry and homeless, and while claiming it's "their own fault," then hell yes, let's punish that.

DUmmie...who do you think builds and sells these luxury items, other rich people? I remember when a luxury boat tax was passed to punish rich people, it nearly destroyed the domestic boat building industry and the people employed by it.

This Naturyl clearly resents anyone who is better off than he is. Whether it is the "millionaire" aunt whose lawnmower he broke or anyone else that chose to work hard and get ahead rather than faking some disability to avoid work, the guy just can't stand facing the fact that he is a loser, so he 'naturylly' chooses to try to punish those who are more valuable to society than he is. The whining fucking maggot.

Most likely he's on that long list of DUers who are so depressed they can't get out of bed

Look, I have Asperger Syndrom, but I don't bitch about it day in and day out, and I don't hate other people who have more money then I do; where the hell does that get desides being a pissed off Moonbats that whines all day and hates people because they have something you done.

Naturyl should grow up and be a man instead of a never ending bitching Moonbat.

They condemn conservatives for being "greedy". (Because they are willing to work to earn money.)

The reality is that the leftists (and some Democrats) are the ones that are so greedy that they can't stand it that someone else has more than they do. They are so greedy and so revengeful at someone having more than they do that they claim that the "anything more" should be taken away from them.

And then they claim that they other person or corporation didn't work to get it.......they "stole" it or made it off the backs of others. All in an attempt to claim more "free stuff" for themselves.

Their constant whine is "It's not fairrrrr."

3. That's it in a nut shell!"Most Affluent Americans Earn Their Wealth, Feel More Secure During Economic Downturns, PNC Survey Reveals

'Earners' Worry Less Than Heirs, Take Greater Risks With Investments -

PHILADELPHIA, April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- An overwhelming number of affluent Americans earned their wealth and are more likely to feel secure during challenging economic times compared to peers who inherited their money, according to findings by PNC Wealth Management, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC).

PNC's fourth annual Wealth and Values Survey revealed that 69 percent of Americans with $500,000 or more in investable assets accumulated most of their fortune by earning it through work, business ownership or investments. This compares to the 6 percent who attained their wealth primarily through inheritance. The remaining 25 percent gained their wealth through a combination of inheritance and earnings."

F the three of you too.

Very true. Maybe the libtard should have read up on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (http://www.gatesfoundation.org/learning/Pages/agricultural-development-progress-reports.aspx) before posting. That Foundation is doing more good in the world than any amount of government handouts, and it's certainly doing a lot more good than a few ex-hippy baby boomers whining about what they don't have on the internet.

It's not that I care how much Bill gives or to whom he gives it, but I do care about the direction the BMGF is taking with charity. They are a shining example of how great private charity can be when compared to government welfare. For instance, when addressing the food shortages in Africa and Southwest Asia government aid would probably be foreign assistance, which may or may not be spent on food. It might all go to AK-47's. The U.N. could send a boatload of rice or something, which is fine, until the rice runs out.

The BMGF takes a completely different approach. They hired scientists and founded research projects to develop several strains of rice that are more resistant to the diseases and problems of the regions. Then they bring this technology to the region's farmers and show them how to develop and use it. It's a free market businessman's approach to problem solving that makes all the difference. This is just one of the hundreds of projects the BMGF is working on with the same type of ingenuity.

Give back as little as you can? Never mind the fact that studies show conservatives are MUCH more generous/ charitable than liberals are.

"If "success" means considering yourself better or more deserving than your neighbor and looking down on those who don't share your genes, circumstances, values, or whatever else, then hell yes, let's punish that."
Hey DUmmy, you just described most liberals' mindset to a tee, not conservatives, especially regarding values.

Good point.
This thread is probably just him continuing to piss and moan over that mean old aunt whose lawnmower he broke and refused to pay them back for.
