The usual suspects are hoping for a monumental, Exxon Valdez like oil spill to prove some point or another. Now most are disappointed that there isn't one, however it does prove that Obama fixed it!

Up to 7,400 barrels of crude oil a day could be spewing into the depths of the Gulf of Mexico after Tuesday night's explosion aboard the semi-submersible Transocean Deepwater Horizon rig caused it to capsize and sink Thursday morning. After listing for most of Wednesday, the $600 million platform 41 miles off the coast of Louisiana

Coast Guard: No oil leaking from sunken rig
Source: USToday.com

NEW ORLEANS — Coast Guard officials say there is no oil currently leaking from a drilling rig that exploded and sank in the Gulf of Mexico, leaving 11 workers unaccounted for.

Coast Guard Rear Adm. Mary Landry said Friday morning that no oil appeared to be leaking from the well head at the ocean floor 5,000 feet deep, nor was any oil leaking at the water's surface.

They desperately desire a disaster so they can trot out their anti-people agenda. The one where every interest is protected but human's.

We can't drill for oil because it destroys wildlife etc, ignoring that this same argument was soundly defeated by the Alaska pipeline and subsequent explosion of Caribou herds. Oil does come from the EARTH, right?

I'm thinking it could have been an act of ecoterrorism.
Think about it:
A massive explosion on an oil rig, just a day or two before Earth Day, the most sacred holiday of the year for rabid environmentalist nutjobs.

8. The operative word was *APPEARS* not to be leaking. That doesn't give me the warm fuzzies.
The earliest report via USA gives the following as The QUOTE from which to extrapolate the bogus "Everything's Fine!" by the whores in the corporate media.

Coast Guard Rear Adm. Mary Landry said Friday morning that no oil appeared to be leaking from the well head at the ocean floor 5,000 feet deep, nor was any oil leaking at the water's surface.

I don't take that analysis as SCIENTIFIC.

9. Has it been capped yet? No, then the potential that it is, IN FACT leaking where we can't see ...
is VIABLE.

Short, I can't see definitively that you have no brain, but it does appear that you do not.

It wouldn't rise to the surface. Don't you know that oil and water mix? Wait... what?
