Good find. Such a turning point in this country's history. These men had brass balls for sure. Fighting the Japanese is not unlike what we're facing today. The Japanese soldier would fight to the last, no matter how long the odds. Beating them wasn't easy.

When they were raising money for the WWII memorial in Washinton, one phrase struck me as 100% accurate.

"These people did no less than save the World."

Yeah. I misread his post. I thought he said that our current conflict with the Jihadists is unlike the conflict with the Japanese. He said ''not unlike.'' I missed the not.
