Wow Megimoo, that was kickass! I made it tonite with a small twist. I added some rotel tomatos and chiles and a shot and a half of Patron at the end!! Really drunken beans.
It was so good that I mashed a little of it up and wrapped it in a tortilla,added some shredded cheese and fried it in some oil till browned. The complete meal. Thanks!

Getting set, the beans have been soaking in a pot.
