As you all may or may not know, Friday night the Philadelphia Flyers pulled off a rarity when they came back from a 3 games to none deficit to beat the Boston Bruins 4 games to 3 making it to the conference finals. This had only been done 3 times in all of professional sports: 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs, 1975 NY Islanders(who nearly pulled it off in back to back series'), & 2004 Boston Red Sox. And not only did the Flyers come back from 3-0 in the series, they did it as well in game 7. Game 7 was a microcosm of the entire series. The Bruins went up 3-0 in the 1st period only to have the Flyers chip their way back then take the lead with a little over 8 minutes left to play and held on for the win. To make the story even more remarkable, they now face the #8 seed Montreal Canadiens. Never in the history of professional sports has there ever been a 7 vs 8 matchup in the playoffs.

Incidentally, the Flyers used the Habs as their personal chew toy in game one tonight winning 6-0.
