When I left the house to go back to work, the Braves trailed 8-1 going into the fourth. I get home and check to see if they made it competitive. They did.........



Brooks Conrad had only had 100 MLB at bats before last night......

That's more runs than they've scored in some weeks this season.

I still think the bats will come around. Chipper may not be the Chipper of old, but he'll be productive. Trot Glaus has hit the ball hard all year, just right at someone. Heyward is just a beast. McCann is a solid bat.

I wish we'd kept Kelley Johnson, though.

Heyward's a freak. I hope he's serious about and doesn't become a fat, lazy, clown like Andruw Jones.
