Now that it looks like BP has gotten the leak stopped, O steps in and states that it is his responsibility to stop it. Does anybody what to bet that if the seal breaks tomorrow he won't put the responsibility back on BP?

The AP story is here (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obama)...

What a jackhole. I bet the DUmbsticks are doing a little dance now that their fearless leader has pooped over the oil industry.

He should have ordered BP to bring in oil supertankers to sop up the escaping oil. He should fire the inspectors for dereliction of duty. He needs to get off his dead ass and throw everything at cleaning up the mess. He should be giving aid to the people that make a living fishing, tourism, etc. on the coast. If this sorry SOB can give billions to bail out EU banks and Greece, he can spread money around to help those in this country.

Note: this oil spill occurred in Federal waters (not state). It was his responsibility on day one, you dumb shit.

.

You're saying the Federal Government should have directly ordered a private corporation about what to do?

...

At the very least the dumb shits in the W.H. could have suggested that BP clean up the spill with a bunch of supertankers like what happened at a larger spill in Saudi A. The W.H. fucked this up from soup to nuts before and after the spill. Are you aware that the number of inspections were not performed in conformity with federal regulations and that the ones that were performed cited safety violations. The inspectors were too busy viewing porn and taking trips and other perks given to them by BP.

BTW, the Feds could have federalized the operation. Not saying they should but the lazy pissants in DC were sitting on their hands.
