I now know 2 things: Why the slave trade started and why abolition was needed.

I'm exhausted but secure in the knowledge that for this year, we still have the greatest yard for a holler. :D

What did you do?

Went to the range yesterday so my wife could try her new pink Walther P-22.

Went to a memorial service on Ft. Campbell this morning.

Grilled some steaks this afternoon.

Can y'all just get your heads out of the porno-zone here?

In addition to working like dogs, we attended a very moving memorial service on Sunday evening. Also, I got bit by a centipede. The centipede didn't make it.

Profiling. Lots of legs, red/orange, about 2 inches long. Really hurt at the moment.

We have them that large, my nephew almost grabbed one last Tuesday when he was helping me take apart a wall. They are kind of pretty but if i ever grabbed one the resulting heart attack would kill me!

I had a good time with my sister and my neices. I am trying to convince her to move here. It's the best time to get a good deal on a house in a good neighborhood.

I went to the singles' picnic yesterday. I got there, sat down and ate a bit, and it started raining just as I started to meet people. It figures. They should have reserved one of the shelters.
