Warm and muggy on the Mountain. We could use a bit of rain.

I love bread. Bread and butter. Bread and olive oil. Bread and cheese.

Sammiches.

Good ole cornbread. Biscuits.

Yum.

TOTD: Favorite bread or breads. And do you make bread?

Sourdough.

Sometimes; I tend to make yeast rolls rather than loaves, and it's a sticky bun factory around here just before Christmas.

Nice. Never made sourdough but I like to eat it.

We make all of our own bread and grind the flour for it.n My favorite wheat is Montana high altitude grown hard white. I'll post a recipe later.

We ate at Red Lobster last night, first time I'd been there in a long time.
I forgot how good their garlic cheese biscuits were. Had more than my share.

TOTD: Sarcone's. It's too good and too cheap to even think about making my own.

I love corn bread. It would be hard for me to narrow it down to a single favorite bread, but cornbread would be in the top three.

TOTD: Sourdough is my fav, followed by dark rye breads. I have starter and make my own breads, rolls, etc. I don't make much bread in the summer but I bake bread every week from the middle of October through April. :)
