Seriously? that's great news. I read earlier somewhere that they were working on a resolution fast and they were close...but that less oil was leaking.

Now watch Barry & Friends now take responsibility for it. "Daddy did you plug the hole yet???" No, I was golfing.

That's not what they mean by cap and trade.

That is great news. Louisiana is heavly dependent on oil and the seafood industry. The budget is going to take a big hit. I look for state taxes to shoot up.

Jindal is a supply-sider. If anything, he'll reduce taxes and let the private sector recover.

I hope the taxes don't go up.

I agree, this is great news!

Has anyone else noticed that gas prices have not went up during all of us. I thought for sure the leak would be an excuse for us to pay more at the pump.

The administration must be pissed about this. I'm sure they wanted even more of a crisis to take advantage of. Of course, they're still trying to shut the gulf down for 6 months, so they're not dead yet.

This is good news. At least the cleanup efforts no longer seem to be so fruitless, when more oil kept coming out.
