Looking at the various undersea cams and it looks like they finally stopped
the gusher! :cool: :)

Seriously? that's great news. I read earlier somewhere that they were working on a resolution fast and they were close...but that less oil was leaking.

That is great news. Louisiana is heavly dependent on oil and the seafood industry. The budget is going to take a big hit. I look for state taxes to shoot up.:eek:

Jindal is a supply-sider. If anything, he'll reduce taxes and let the private sector recover.

I agree, this is great news!
Has anyone else noticed that gas prices have not went up during all of us. I thought for sure the leak would be an excuse for us to pay more at the pump.

The administration must be pissed about this. I'm sure they wanted even more of a crisis to take advantage of. Of course, they're still trying to shut the gulf down for 6 months, so they're not dead yet.

This is good news. At least the cleanup efforts no longer seem to be so fruitless, when more oil kept coming out.
