I love this movie.

No, I haven't seen it lately. I was watching a science show and heard someone say "ice station" and it made me think of it.

If you like Alistair MacLean, you would love Wilbur Smith.

He is one of my favorite writers. He has a broad range of historical adventure novels from ancient Egypt to modern day. You should check his stuff out.

I zoned out. I checked Wilber Smith and found he wrote a book that I listened to (unabridged) to as an audiobook called Assagai.

Good book. I didn't remember the name but I like his style.

Check out Birds of Prey, Monsoon, Blue Horizon (all early parts of his Courtney saga), and also River God and the Seventh Scroll. I think you will get hooked, my friend. Good stuff.
