Series I found on Hulu.com. It is about the Korean and reminds me a bit of Band of Brothers. Very Good.

Watched episodes 2 and 3 and the carnage, destruction and mayhem was at a very high standard. The remnents of an artillery battery and a signal company joined up to destroy a bridge to halt an advancing armored column but get their asses kicked. The same group of soldiers volunteer to provide a rear guard for refugees being evacuated. Though very lightly armed they take on the armored column from before, destroy a few tanks and take the infantry escort on with bayonets. It is not Band of Brothers but it is damned close.

My dad would probably like it. He served in the Army right after the war ended, and his unit did border patrol and "nation building" in South Korea (stringing phone lines, among other things).

He said there were a lot of NK snipers shooting at South Koreans from their side of the border, despite the war being officially over. This would have been in the late 50s.
