The last few weeks have been a nightmare for President Obama, in a summer of discontent in the United States which has deeply unsettled the ruling liberal elites, so much so that even the Left has begun to turn against the White House. While the anti-establishment Tea Party movement has gained significant ground and is now a rising and powerful political force to be reckoned with, many of the presidentís own supporters as well as independents are rapidly losing faith in Barack Obama, with open warfare breaking out between the White House and the left-wing of the Democratic Party. While conservatism in America grows stronger by the day, the forces of liberalism are growing increasingly weaker and divided.

1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people

2. Most Americans donít have confidence in the presidentís leadership

3. Obama fails to inspire

4. The United States is drowning in debt

5. Obamaís Big Government message is falling flat

6. Obamaís support for socialised health care is a huge political mistake

7. Obamaís handling of the Gulf oil spill has been weak-kneed and indecisive

8. US foreign policy is an embarrassing mess under the Obama administration

9. President Obama is muddled and confused on national security

10. Obama doesnít believe in American greatness

There is a distinctly Titanic-like feel to the Obama presidency and itís not hard to see why. The most left-wing president in modern American history has tried to force a highly interventionist, government-driven agenda that runs counter to the principles of free enterprise, individual freedom, and limited government that have made the United States the greatest power in the world, and the freest nation on earth.

This, combined with weak leadership both at home and abroad against the backdrop of tremendous economic uncertainty in an increasingly dangerous world, has contributed to a spectacular political collapse for a president once thought to be invincible. America at its core remains a deeply conservative nation, which cherishes its traditions and founding principles. President Obama is increasingly out of step with the American people, by advancing policies that undermine the United States as a global power, while undercutting Americaís deep-seated love for freedom.

The libs are finally discovering that just become someone can ably read eloquent speechs from a teleprompter does not imply that the reader has any of the necessary attributes to be a leader.

When I see the list of socialist achievements the last two years I'm not thinking decline.

I don't see left-wing liberalism out of Obama as everyone claims. It looks like fascism to me.

I also don't see him as a "failure" either. It appears to me that everything is going pretty much as planned...

The largest corporate entities (banks, corporations, and insurance companies) have consolidated their monopolies, power, and influence like a motherfucker basically beginning with the full nationalization of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. And that started at the tail end of Bush's second term. Then came the financial collapse and TARP - they saw it coming folks, don't kid yourselves for two seconds. Everything just steamrolled from there.

The health care bill was written by the largest insurance companies - boy we really stuck it to them didn't we?

The banking reform bill was written by the largest banks - We really stuck it to them too by giving them more power than ever - almost unlimited power.

Brand "Obama" was a fraud from day one used to carry all of this out under "left" cover. Hope and Change is cruel hoax and a bogus sham.

Fascism is a form of leftist liberalism, don't let them fool you otherwise. The left likes to say that communism is far left-wing and facism is far right wing, and it's utter B.S. Under fascism the government has near complete control, since government power and control increases as one moves left across the political spectrum, it's easy to see that fascism belongs on the left.

No. But then I'm one of those people who refuses to used the definition the democrats came up with and apply the label to anyone on the left. That being said - Fascism is socialism with a capitalist veneer.

I agree with both of you... These phony political terms are used to 'muddy the waters' so to speak.

I'm frightened by what I see and believe we are in a LOT of trouble. Folks can give it whatever label they wish. The facts are the facts.

1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people

And yet he has a higher approval than Reagan at this point

4. The United States is drowning in debt

This was already happening under Bush , and yet the GOP told us that "deficits don't matter"

6. Obamaís support for socialised health care is a huge political mistake

And yet the HCR retained the private insurance industry, making your comment absurd, there is no socialized health care he is pushing for

Since articles LIE, we'll see if Obama lies out of his own mouth.

I just got back from my Dermatologist. Asked him about Obama care. If the government cuts medicare and medicaid, he told me that he may refuse to see those patients. He also talked about exiting the US and moving to Australia or NZ.

The idiot in the WH is going to fuck up the health care system. There will be a shortage of Doctors cause who is going to spend hundreds of thousands going to Medical school, doing an internship, then more education for a speciality when the government is going to tell them how much they can charge. Older Doctors will hang it up and their replacements will diminish causing long waiting periods like in Canada and the EU.

They forgot #11: Hordes of sycophantic, brainwashed robots going to conservative websites to blame President Bush.

See, I think he has in his mind grievances against perceived past "injustices" that he feels need to be made right. To me, nothing else makes sense.

Unless he just soaked up the Progressive nonsense in College and it truly brainwashed him. I know how hard most Colleges work to brainwash their students. Even at Penn State I see it.

Something is seriously wrong with this man. I pray for him every day. I may hate every idea he has, but a Christian man always follows what Christ taught and loves thy neighbor no matter what.

Right, we established you had no proof to back up your claims that they stopped.

Now, this thread diverges no more. If you wish to continue this, take it to the appropriate thread.
