All the fans here catch it? Who else was shocked by Russell showing up and pulling the spine out of the news guy on live tv? Or the way he is carrying around the bloody remnants of his former lover in a crystal urn, and talking to them as if Talbot was still present?

I thought it was funny that Nan "I only drink True Blood" Flanagan was drinking blood from a human at the time she was watching the newscast.

The post-mortem is on line at HBO.com and it is also pretty good.

This pretty much describes the last 2 episodes. But yes, I saw the last episode. That final scene was indeed a surprise. I'm wondering where they're going with this but it pretty much is going to kill the Vampire Rights bill. I thought Russel's ending particularly funny: After pulling the guy's spine out and going on a rant that he's going to lead a vampire revolution over humanity, he gets all jovial and goes, "And now for the weather..." I'm actually likeing the Eddington character and Dennis O'Hare has been brilliant. As for the nakedness on the RS cover, this season has seen a lot of nakedness of Anna Paquin. :D I wouldn't mind seeing some nakedness of her on screen cousin. Oh, and Stephen Moyer grabbing Anna's titty, it's OK, they're a real couple.
