I was wondering outloud one day if there was a way to stop Fucx News (And Others) from putting video and pictures of these Teagagger Dumbasses on the TV (we were discussing the upcoming BeckerHead Rally at the Lincoln Mem.) and the Net,My Girlfriend said...

"Well,it is against the law to broadcast anything obscene on the public airwaves right,Why not get a hundred people to put huge Dildoes on 6 foot sticks, hide them between a coupla pieces of cardboard so they look like a sign and when these idiots hit the stage, rip the cardboard away and hold the dildoes up like protest signs...Stopping the Media from showing this crap on TV.

I thought this was brilliant!

My Question...Can one be arrested for this or is it covered under Article One?

:D

Article 1?

Does he mean the 1st Amendment?

And given the thousands of people that'll be out there, I doubt camera's will notice to much a few dozen people waving dildo's around. His girlfriend sounds as dumb as he does.

Exactly. The yearning these people have to be slaves is astonishing. It never seems to occur to them that by denying others the right to voice opinions, they set the stage to be denied themselves when their masters take power.

That's because they can't imagine ever being out of power. They don't yearn to be slaves, they yearn to be masters. In their world, we're the slaves, serfs, proles or whatever else they want to call us.

I can't get past the use of "all ya y'all" for "all of you, collectively."

A dumb question on DU? Isn't that redundant? Oh, and their maturity is showing.

Hmmm, girlfriend says to hold dildoes up on sticks? Certainly not an endorsement of boyfriend, PJPhreak........http://users.mo-net.com/mcruzan/avatars/laugher.gif

I assume that the rules for y'all are the same as for the Brooklyn version of the plural of you, youse, as in, "Hey, what are youse doin'?" You can also say, "What are youse guys doin'?" which seems redundant, but is considered proper, at least in Bensonhurst, or Bensonhoist, as it's known there. :D

A dildo on a stick seems as redundant as "ya y'all," but then, so does the boyfriend.

Tell me this is someone's sock, please. Surely there isn't a real person posting like this, even on DU.

Don't underestimate the media. They SEEK out the idiots to put on TV (when it is a conservative gathering).
