9. Two ongoing senseless wars, Gitmo still open for business, illegal wiretapping

and spying on Americans continues unabated, no end in sight for the war on drugs, no significant help for folks facing foreclosure but plenty for megabanksters, DADT is still Law and Obama can't even support same sex marriage. And you think the Democratic leadership is doing a good job?

You need a reality check, stat.

13. ".the most successful presidency in recent history. "... Talk about damning

with faint praise.

If that's the best that you can come up with it doesn't even hit the board. The Democratic leadership has sold it's soul and the American people out for a verry thin slice of the corporate pie, or a seat at the kids table in the corporate oligarchy banquet. It's not a pretty sight to behold, the supposed party of the people attempting to out Republican the GOPosse, but that's exactly what they've been doing since Clinton and the *new Democrats* were invented and the DLC took over.Certainly you can crow all the fuck you want about half-assed accomplishments but halfassed ain't gonna come anywhere close to fixing the problems this nation faces.

Unless and until the Democratic Party and it's elected officials have the determination and the grit to hoe the hard row and stick to their beliefs w/o selling their principles down the river at the first sign of resistance we are well and truly fucked.

But don't let me stand in the way of your cake and ice cream celebration for the wonderful state of the gulf, legal cannabis users still being harassed and the rest of the civil rights that are being flushed down the toilet because your team managed to save a bank and an automaker.

I'm kinda waiting for a tombstone here.

That thread is awesome. It's completely devolved into an "Obama sucks", "no he doesn't" thread. It's a cage match. :D

48. Don't count on it.. Obama's bridges have burned long ago.

Nice attempt to roll out publicity pictures, but if that's all you got, then you got nothing. Especially since you needed Glen Beck to roll them out, only to remind us of what poetential Obama had, and squandered...

You said something about Democratic Leadership... Please fill us in, and avoid the fluffy pictures and give us real information this time.

The cheerleader squad must be due for another paycheck.

50. You celebrate Health Insurance Reform? Are you nuts?
I just spoke to a friend today who got laid off. He's going to go solo, and health insurance for his family is going to cost $3,000 a month.

Just in case you are celebrating too hard, that's $36,000 dollars a year...

You Celebrate while everyone else gets Fucked by the crappy job this administration did to them in regards to Health Care.

You are nobodies friend if you celebrate this sham..

LOL!

And there in lies one of the real problems with health care. If I was to go to getting laid off and had to pay my own it would only cost about 600.00 a month, not 3000.00. What was it in the health care bill that fixed this..................oh yeah, NOTHING!

I was in 3 of those crowds so nope I ain't impressed, keep HOPE ALIVE!

I'm assuming that he was the horse's ass? :D

BTW, WAPO did a blatantly biased scam on the rally. They ran a photo taken on another date, when the mall was almost empty, under the headlines about Beck's rally. Here's American Thinker's column (http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2010/08/remarkably_blatant_media_bias.html) on the subject.

There's another minor point. My state of Virginia paid for buses OUT OF OUR TREASURY WITHOUT MY OKAY to bus thousands of people into this inaguration event. millions out of our virginia treasure per instruction of Governor Tim Kaine who is now the DNC chairman.

no body paid me or any of the folk coming to Beck's Renew America Rally a red cent. What we did get was disrespect, lies and vile contumely. that was free.
