Original message How much do you trust Tim Geithner ?

He has publicly stated that he opposes the extension of the Bush taxcuts for the wealthy. If he has Obama's ear, then that is a good position to hold. Most progressives would agree with him.

However, some progressives are a little skeptical that Elizabeth Warren will be answering to him, as well as the President. Will the President value her recommendations as much as he does Timmy? Is her appointment just a sop to the progressives before the election or does the President see her as the real deal? Or is Tim Geithner calling the shots on Warren's recommendations?

The President has invested a lot of political capital in Tim Geithner. Do you think he is worth it?

POTUS is a POS so I wouldn't take that last sentence too seriously. :D
