1st time in their history. And with all the troubles we had this season, to win again, is astounding. Here's to another drive for another World Series appearance.

Looks like I'll be attending my second parade in three years.

No one's gonna beat the Phils.

Go Phillies.

I'm still pulling for my Bravos but I think there is no way they can get in and win.

Damn Yankees!!:DMy first choice is that the Yankees miss the playoffs every year. Just like I wish the Cowboys miss the playoffs every year. I hate them.

However, since it looks like the Yankpukes will be in, we will have an av beat if they should be lucky enough to meet the Phils in the Series. (same goes for the Rays since they're hometown).

The only thing that scares me is if the Phils go into another slump.

And now the Phillies are 1 game from spoiling the Braves playoff hopes. Curb stomping them on Bobby Cox appreciation day.

Phillies better worry about the Giants, before they worry about the Yanks.

They were even better down the stretch, posting a 1.78 ERA (http://articles.latimes.com/2010/oct/02/sports/la-sp-1003-baxter-20101003)in September, the fifth-best mark by any team in any month in the last 90 years.

Braves need a win today to sneak in as a wild card along with a loss by the Pads.

Last I checked the phills were the only team in the majors that had 3 starting pitchers with an ERA under 3.

Atlanta leads the Phillies in the game today, which means nothing for the Phillies anyway.

They may still make the wild-card.

8-7 Braves in the 8th.

They can't catch an easy break.

Braves win. Now it's up the The Padres/Giants.

After 6 the Giants lead by 2.

SF 2, SD 0 (End 6) (MLBN, CH4, CSCA, DTV 746/747) at ATL 8, PHI 7 (Final)

Giants win Padres out; (3) Reds at (1) Phillies, (4) Braves at (2) Giants
Padres win NL West: Giants at Padres on Monday at 4 p.m. ET (TBS), Wild card: Loser at Braves on Tuesday

Giants-Braves. Nice.

Phillies vs Red.

Reds are going to face Halladay at least twice in this series. Their only chance will be against Hamels because he's been the most inconsistent throughout the season but Halladay and Oswalt have been as close to lights out as pitchers can get.

Last I checked the phills were the only team in the majors that had 3 starting pitchers with an ERA under 3.

I'd worry about the Giants....for the month of September the pitching staff had a combined ERA of 1.81 and held opposing batters to an average of .181
