Veterans Solidly Back McCain (http://www.gallup.com/poll/109654/Veterans-Solidly-Back-McCain.aspx)

PRINCETON, NJ -- With both presidential candidates addressing the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention this week (John McCain on Monday and Barack Obama on Tuesday), Gallup finds that registered voters who have served in the U.S. military solidly back McCain over Obama, 56% to 34%.

I watched Zer-0's speech to the VFW today. I almost lost my lunch.

I would hope that we (veterans) do!

What surprises me is that McCain has that 56% with us veterans.
I would have figured the number to be MUCH higher.

Guess all those black veterans are going for their black candidate.
If 93% of civilian blacks are going for Obama,
then I would guess the same stats may apply to black veterans.

Sadly true. This of course is not considered Racist, unlike the B.S. we would hear if the colors were reversed.

To me the only positive thing McCain has going for him is that he ain't Obama and that is not enough in itself to be Commander in Chief.
