Original message Is America broken beyond repair?

The Republicans have been butchering the Constitution since the day Ronald Reagan took office. And it seems that the Bush/Cheney years managed to finish the job of destroying American democracy.

It's my belief that our country is broken beyond repair. We no longer lead the world in anything except military power. Our government, big business, and most of our institutions are so corrupt that no one would have a clue as to how to undo the damage.

Every empire falls, so I guess it's our turn. But perhaps it's for the best. I, for one, would be happy to never again hear anyone chant the imbecilic phrase, "We're number one."

So what happens next? It will be years before our current economic woes end, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Any guesses?

And you will find the expected traitorous replies.

DUmmies...if you dislike it here sooooooo much...there are crossable borders if you walk North or South. Geterdone!!!! :D

East or west might be a better choice.

Never underestimate the power of swift and blinding mindless violence to be able to right things............

I wonder if Cyrano has ever read one word of our Constitution. I am betting not.

The constitution has as much relevance to a liberal as a King James Bible does to an atheist!

Just another Moonbat hoping for the fall of the USA so they build a Socialist paradise from the smoking ruins.

Of course they forget all the gangs, thugs, punks and would-be warlords who will want to claim some part of the nation as their own and none of them is going to bow down to a bunch of dim-witted Moonbats who think they are in charge, just because they say so.

Sorry, if things break down, Moonbats are mostly zombie chow and the rest will crawl out from under the rocks they've been hiding, and start screaming orders at the people who beat the bad guys and are trying to things back together.

I love how he didn't present a single example of this shredded Constitution.

I do like how he mentioned we lead the world in military might. I would like to point out that the Roman Empire didn't collapse until it's military was weakened to the point of obselescence due to the government being satisfied with second rate soldiers and equipment.

Funny how they don't like the military might part. I'd love to see these stooges living in a dictatorship like Venezuela.

Cyrano or Pinnochio? Moron's nose is growing. The Conservatives in this country want to have a strict interpretation of the Constition. Idiot libertards want to treat it like a living document. By default the shredders are the libertards.
