US Marine acquitted of all charges in Haditha killings

A court martial on Wednesday acquitted a US Marine for his role in the deaths of 24 civilians in Haditha in Iraq in 2005, the sixth man to be exonerated in the affair, a military official said.
Lieutenant Andrew Grayson, 27, was declared "not guilty on all charges" by a jury, said a spokesman for the Camp Pendleton military base in southern California where the hearing started on May 28.

Grayson had been charged with making false statements and attempting to fraudulently separate from the Marine Corps. He was also charged with obstruction of justice, but the military judge dismissed this charge Tuesday.

He was the first Marine to stand trial in connection with the killings of 24 men, women and children in Haditha, the most serious war crime allegations leveled at US forces since the 2003 invasion to topple Saddam Hussein.

Maybe when a crooked black Democratic politician like Rep. Jefferson who gets caught red handed with bribe money of $100,000 in the freezer, we should just put him in jail without a trial. Now, that would send a great message to those crooked politicians. Speaking of which, you have a shit pot of crooked ones in your state. Even white ones.

I agree!

it's wonderful when the truth triumphs and people wrongly accused by reactionary dickheads are exonerated.

Not that I'm calling you a reactionary dickhead or anything, but you have some anger spittle on your foreskin.

Sorry... I guess that's your forehead. Hard to tell sometimes.

Why are you still here? If your accusations were true about this site being the epitome of all that is wrong and racist with conservatives, what does it say about you, that you return even after your fictitious report is complete? I'm sure, by the way, that it was hailed as an inspiring work of originality and genius. And I wouldn't be surprised if Obama isn't right now considering tapping your expertise to help heal the racial divide in this country once he becomes President. :)

Yeah, if you do your job, you will be forced to spend a fortune to defend yourself against bogus charges brought by politically-motivated media hacks who take the word of a fake local organization, slandered by a member of the United States Congress and then held under confinement until you prove yourself innocent. Is that what you meant?

Oh that is rich! As if Conservatives somehow have a unique hold on racism.
