hmmm

[He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

he's a racists plain and simple.

I can understand how those who like things fed to them plain and simple would think so.

That was the first thought that came to my mind too when I first heard this.
I took it as a jab at whitey - having been forced to sit in the back of the bus
now while the black man drives.

Can you imagine the uproar if a Republican suggested that Obama sit at the back of the bus or a car or any vehicle?

Obama gets away with a lot of racial stuff. It doesn't matter who wins the house or senate, he clearly doesn't intend to work with the Repubs. Any party leader who thinks Obama will cooperate merely because the Republicans pick up a bunch of seats is badly misguided. He'll be even sneakier about implementing his socialist policies the last 2 years.

I am getting tired of his in your face racial crap, especially with the justice department looking the other way on the Black Panther voter intimidation.
He will create racial problems that will take years to heal.

I've said before that Obama has set race relations back 50 years.

I would say he has lost his mind but I think he is hell bent on carrying out his socialistic agenda. He is an anti American POS.

The man is determined to reduce the influence of America as a superpower in the world today.

I thought that as well.

A good amount of minorities use their minority status as a chip in politics, left, right, center. It's just part of how the game is played...he said he wasn't gonna do that. I believed him for a minute.

My bad.

Yes, Obama is against special interests.

Like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and the other biggest share holders in the PRIVATE federal reserve as he gave them unprecedented new power with so-called banking reform.

But we've all heard the basic talking points for quite some time now...

Clinton left us with a surplus! Bush ran us into massive deficits! Which is true to some degree, but there are huge lies swirling around those talking points. Without the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, we wouldn't have a black-hole of hundreds of trillions in derivatives being managed by a group of bankster criminals with the grip of death on our government and our nation. All of the petty partisan bickering is peanuts compared to this, and until people figure that out, they're being taken for suckers. It's just that simple.

Clinton, Bush, and Obama aren't going to enslave you and your children, but Wall St. bankster crooks most certainly will.

It's the derivatives stupid! I wish people would start using that phrase.

If we do not get our financial house in order, we will ALL be sitting at the back of the bus being driven by a Chinaman.

That phrase is objectionable no matter how it's stated, whether it's the black or the white guy sitting in the back of the bus.

At one of my previous jobs, one of the white sales reps used that phrase "step to the back of the bus, boy" to their only black sales reps, who happened to be a super guy. I couldn't believe it. I tried smoothing it over with the black guy, but there's not much you can really say to make things better.
