October 29th, 2010 • By Matt Molnar
A bomb fashioned out of a printer ink toner cartridge has been found on board a UPS cargo plane in London, bound for Chicago, according to a CNN report Friday morning. The plane had originated in Yemen.
The report comes just after the TSA announced “suspicious shipments” were found on UPS planes Friday morning at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). A UPS delivery truck has also been searched in Queens, New York.
Nothing was found on the plane at Newark, but authorities continue to search the planes in Philadelphia.
Authorities believe the events may be the result of a coordinated bomb plot against the US, according to ABC News.
