Obama demonstrated time and time again that his idea of "Bi- partisanship" was "Either you agree with me on every issue, or you'll be locked out."
He became unpopular because:
1. He pandered incessantly to the left.
2. His liberal policies were not what the majority of Americans wanted, hence the growth of the Tea Party movement.
3. The main reason why he won the election was because he used his charisma to build up a cult of personality. Then, when he got into office, he learned that charisma was not enough to effectively govern a nation, so people realized they elected an incompetent buffoon.
