Original messageTIME FOR OBAMA TO ACT LIKE A DEMOCRAT!http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/images/transparent.gifas everyone knows, the reason we lost all these seats is because of the un-popularity of our president. he became un-popular because of his constant pandering to these right wing idiots in washington, mr.obama. WE ELECTED A DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT! START FUCKING ACTING LIKE ONE! FUCK THE REPUBLICANS! WHO GIVES A FUCK WHAT THEY WANT OR THINK! REMEMBER G.W.BUSH? HE DIDNT GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT WHAT THE DEMS WANTED OR LIKED! the only way for obama to EVER get re-elected is to GOVERN LIKE A FUCKING DEMOCRAT!

No. The truth is that he scared the American people with how far left he moved so quickly after election. Had he focused on the economy instead of feeling he had to force health care down our throats, things might have been different. Americans like things to change slowly. Ask Bill Clinton about 1994. But the du is so rabidly partisan, that it will never realize that. And that is why it will always fail.

You can teach logic and reasoning all you want to these retards. You'll only tend to frustrate yourself. Now throw them another bag of Cheetoes and watch from a safe distance.

Looks like their site imploded for now, just like their candidates did. Very fitting meltdown.

Obama is still our president, he is a Democrat, and this is Democratic Underground. We all share disappointment with how the night is going..but this is a clear violation. Thanks for your understanding.

" he became un-popular because of his constant pandering to these right wing idiots in washington, mr.obama."
Is this DUmmy on crack?
Obama demonstrated time and time again that his idea of "Bi- partisanship" was "Either you agree with me on every issue, or you'll be locked out."
He became unpopular because:
1. He pandered incessantly to the left.
2. His liberal policies were not what the majority of Americans wanted, hence the growth of the Tea Party movement.
3. The main reason why he won the election was because he used his charisma to build up a cult of personality. Then, when he got into office, he learned that charisma was not enough to effectively govern a nation, so people realized they elected an incompetent buffoon.

Too late to act like a real Democrat. He can push as hard as he wants now and very little is gonna pass. :D

Right, because if Obama doesn't act like a Democrat (meaning far left liberal), then all those people who don't think he's liberal enough will vote for the Republican.

(the so called 'progressives' have addled brains and can't seem to think logically.......maybe that's why they're so far left to begin with)

Forget Lager, DU is too stupid/crazy to figure that out.

Its just one of the two stock answers they got for losing an election. Its either " THEY CHEATED " , or its " WE WEREN'T LIBERAL ENOUGH. ". Both these worthless answers are used so they don't have deal with reality.
