5. Right. But they control Congress. The House by majority and the Senate by filibuster. Some
implosion.

Your tears are sweet Nectar.

8. And? Most people I know are not afraid. Power without common sense is like no power at all.

Which is why you've been screaming bloody murder that your super-majority Congress couldn't do anything.

9. not if FOX says they aren't.
fox creates its own reality, and the mindless zombie horde votes accordingly.

The MSM wants this to be true SO BADLY, but since when has jockying for postion within the party been the equivalent of 'implosion'?

The DUmmies are back to magical thinking, I guess.

They never left.

I respectfully disagree. For about an hour during Obama's inauguration what they hoped was true, WAS true - he actually was POTUS.

Downhill since, of course . . . .

This thread is an excellent example of why we laugh at you DUmmies. :D

71. The unwillingness to confront reality that is sometimes on display here...

always amazes me.

I guess I should be used to it by now.

Before the election I saw poster after poster declare that not only were Democrats going to keep the House, they were going to gain seats.

He's harshing on their buzz.

The public could turn back against the republicans in 2 years, if the economy is still in the toilet. Or, the Tea Party could separate from the GOP and split the conservative vote-that's what happened in the Michigan Governor's race this year. The Tea Party endorsed Cox, the traditional conservatives endorsed Hoekstra, and Snyder ended up winning the primary.

Of course, for the dems to take advantage of such a scenario, they would need some better candidates than some of the current leaders in the party. When you have people like the DUmmies, who think Nancy Pelosi was a great SOH (something I don't think Obama would agree with at this point), what can you really expect?
