I'm very sad to see that it's so difficult to stand by a Democratic president these days

I just wonder what makes it so attractive to be in a constant state of misery and utter dissatisfaction and to focus all of that on one man.
What's to be gained from this?
Maybe someone can answer that, because I certainly don't know the answer.
