Americans, I have some bad news for you:

You have the worst quality of life in the developed world – by a wide margin.

If you had any idea of how people really lived in Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and many parts of Asia, you’d be rioting in the streets calling for a better life. In fact, the average Australian or Singaporean taxi driver has a much better standard of living than the typical American white-collar worker.

I know this because I am an American, and I escaped from the prison you call home...

Well... I do have a pretty good idea, and trust me, I'm perfectly happy with the quality of life I have in the US.

In Japan, beef cost nearly 4 times as much as it does in the US. And what is the point of life without beef?

The reason Lance Freeman thinks life is so much better in other countries is because he still lives in NYC - teaching at Columbia U. So, if life is so bad, why doesn't he leave?

Yeah, the quality of life here is so bad that millions of people brave the desert heat to come here and others strap 4 innertubes to a couple of 2X4's to swim though shark infested waters to get here. Yeah, life sucks here. :rolleyes:
