SEN. JAY ROCKEFELLER (D-WV): "There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.'

It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future."

The left always wants to silence the opposition. It's SOP for them.

translated for truth and clarity.

SEN. JAY ROCKHEAD (DIMWIT-WV): "There's a little brain inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.'

It would be a big favor to political coverup; our ability to do our work here in secret, and to shove the liberal Socialist agenda down the American people's throats, to be able to have our opinion given to us by the one source of government approved information outlets, and more importantly, in their future obedience to progressive ideology."

This is an example of political idiocy (the FCC doesn't regulate those channels) but more worryingly, it's an example of someone who wants a soft dictatorship. Obviously, Congress would have an "easier" job of legislating if they could also censor any unofficial news reporting.

You know who also enjoyed censorship? Hitler, that's who.

Actually, the left had it easy right up until the creation of Fox News. Before that, they had a stranglehold on the media and they know it but now Fox News is the spider in the woodpile and they hate it.

This is the same guy who said maybe we would be better off if the internet had never been invented... Yes, he actually said it.

Tell him to take that up with Al Gore.
