General Betrayus (sic) will announce a new plan this Saturday that moves up the date to "hand over" Afghan security control to the Afghanistan forces from July 2011 to 2014 !

THREE more years of war. Four more years of military spending.
ANOTHER 1500 YOUNG AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN DEAD (450 a year re: http://icasualties.org/oef / )

In a Spanish newspaper (El Paris) interview today , President Obama said: "The alliance's target is in line with Afghan President Hamid Karzai's goal of having his forces take the main responsibility for security by 2014"

Obama said he expected the allies will pledge "additional trainers for Afghan security forces". That's MORE American IED fodder . And - FYI - war wounded usually have been running 10x the amount of war dead so that's FIFTEEN THOUSAND Americans with PTSD, missing limbs, brain injuries , etc - ALL of whom will have to be cared.

This will never end until Americans get into the streets like they did in the 60's and DEMAND this to end.

ed. - Changed Title from FOUR to THREE (more years of war). Bad math - my bad. Changed war dead stats to account for that

On another note - a personal one for me regarding promises broken:
Public option - promise broken.
Closing Gitmo - promise broken.
shutting down the war effort - promise broken.
Getting us out of Afghanistan - promise broken
Getting Big Business out of the Fed - promise broken

I voted for this man, campaigned for this man. I have no words.

What really knocks out me about the DUers is how they are always screaming someone, or nother being " AMERICAN TALIBAN" .

Yet when it comes to the real Taliban, DUers are their biggest supporters.
