If the South Koreans have the answer to economics then why the hell can't they afford to provide for their own defense? Why do they need the American military to protect their asses?

However, having said that it is clear the South Koreans made the hard choices and did the right things while the US is burden with a bunch of yahoos running our government that are more interested in raiding the US Treasury for their special interest groups like the unions than they are to do the right thing.
