I thought the Sheriff new something we didn't. Well, we can atl least end any further confusion about whether this was all a sick, twisted political ploy by the Left to begin with.
Palin still needs to be blamed. She has the habit of saying things w/o thinking about people's feeling. A very mean spirited person.

2) It creates an impression that progressives are cold and politically calculating, in that the poster claims to be "a little disappointed" that we can't play gotcha with our opponents.
