Bristol Palin offered job on Phoenix radio show

PHOENIX (AP) A Phoenix radio station has offered a job to Bristol Palin.

Mix 96.9 host Mathew Blades says Sarah Palin's eldest daughter met with the station's management Friday and that they offered her a gig co-hosting with him on his morning show.

The 20-year-old daughter of the former Alaska governor hasn't accepted the offer but Blades says she seems interested.

The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant has purchased a five-bedroom house in the town of Maricopa, which is south of Phoenix. She came to the forefront during her mother's 2008 vice presidential run when the Palin family announced that the then-17-year-old was pregnant.

2. She's the next George W. Bush

Few have gotten so many breaks for doing absolutely nothing of worth. Considering how far she's already gotten at her age, I'm a little bit terrified to think about where she's going to be twenty years from now.

Not only does this DUmmie evoke the name of ChimpyMcCokeSpoonBushitler but perfectly describes Obama. :D

I'm not a Sarah fan, but I have no beef with or ill wishes for her daughter. Good for Bristol, I hope she takes the job.

The question isn't wishing ill will. It's if she would have ever been considered for something like this if she wasn't the daughter of a political celebrity.

Probably not, but it's not like I was competing with Bristol for the job, nor were any of the DUmmies who griped about it. Chelsea Clinton has a good job because of her politician parents, and so does Jenna Bush. Both young women went to college and earned degrees first, but still, they are where they are because they come from powerful families. Malia and Sasha will likely be in similar situations when they are older.

They're little girls, okay?

Of course they are now. Did you forget that you were talking about when presidents daughters or popular politicians daughters grow up and get jobs? I'm saying by that time daddy may be someone they don't want to mention.

I think you missed my point. I was referring to Obama, not his daughters.

Obama got to be president for being a community organizer and a part-time senator for one term. His biggest accomplishment in life is writing two books about his favorite topic, himself.

Noonie missed mine too, oh well. The books really sucked too, impossible to concentrate without your mind wandering to more exciting things like grass growing!

Less than 3 years actually. You give him too much credit. ;)

If you had smoked some grass, you'd of better understood the book.

They should love her. She has joined the ranks of those that pay for all their favorite give away programs.

The Unions will offer them completely overpaid positions as long as the DIMWIToRAT party continues most favorable status to them.
