LOL. They are so fixated on Sarah Palin that they have to give pep talks before 'abstaining' from talking about her.
Anyone taking bets on how long they last?

Count Me In: February is Palin-free Month

Dana Milbank at the WaPo has declared that February will be Palin-free month. I’ve thought for a longtime that everytime Palin gets a mention in the news, on the blogs, on the radio, TV, wherever… She is continuing to be empowered to do and say the inane and insulting things she does and says. That’s why I am joining Dana Milbank and pledging to be Palin-free for the month of February and perhaps beyond:
With enough support, I believe we may even be able to extend the moratorium beyond one month, but we are up against a powerful compulsion, and we must take this struggle day by day.
The logic via Milbank:
Palin clearly isn’t going away: “I am not going to sit down. I’m not going to shut up,” she told Hannity on Monday. But if we treat her a little less like a major political figure and a little more like Ann Coulter — a calculating individual who says shocking things to attract media attention — it won’t matter.
Sarah Palin has been given far more attention and far more influence than ever deserved. It’s time to turn that around… I Pledge To Be Palin-free.
