Trend forecaster Gerald Celente says his theory that history is repeating is coming true.Specifically he points to austerity riots and food riots as manifestations of the sort of tensions that led to the Second World War, in an interview with King World News.

"The experts… are saying what's going on in Tunisia and Egypt, this is going on in Arab nations. Nah, this is the beginning of something much greater. Figure it out. Civil wars to regional wars to world wars.

I'm sure many here will say this is hardly a depression because their jobs have, not been affected yet and there will also be many that will say we aren't even close to world war, just like what was said before the second world war.

The guy plays off the hysterically wrong idea that history repeats itself.
It does not. And will not.

The period between WWI & WWII was the period in history when the U.S. pursued a policy of isolation. "Hands off", the people said. Time proved that to be an error, and ever since that period we have replaced it with our current foreign policy of world security. That policy has been expressed with varying results in Bosnia, Kuwait, Vietnam, Somalia, and so forth, and has succeeded because there is absolutely no one in the world who has either morale position nor backbone to stop us.

Unless Obama manages to weaken both our military and its resolve, the U.S. will and should continue this course of, yes, being The World's Policeman.
WE, The U.S. of A will prevent WWIII only if we continue our course of being the reason that dictators do not leave their borders and attack innocent countries.

History repeats itself only to those who do not know much about history. Or perhaps to those who want you to believe such drivel.
