Why is Reagan's the day before his birthday?

typo. corrected.

Additionally. Presidents Day or President's Day or even Presidents' day. Depending on what kind of liberal persuasion you happen to be. And If you REALLY want to get down to it. Washington's Birthday is on the 22 of February NOT the 21st. It has been changed actually to something like the 3rd tuesday and then renamed Presidents Day so that it sorta fogs the actual goal of honoring our first president.

So yeah. SCREW THEM. I think i was sorta torn with trying to be tolerant. WELL BAG THAT.

Now I REALLY hesitate telling you this. I LEFT OUT Feb 1 which is the 13th amendment signed on that day. Feb 1, which outlawed slavery for you northerners seeing as Lincoln's emancipation proclamation ONLY freed the slaves in the southern states that were rebelling. Of course, neither amendment nor proclamation ever freed the mexicans or women.

We get President's Day as a holiday, which is the 3rd Monday in February. MLK's birthday is celebrated the 3rd Monday in January, not necessarily on his actual birthday.

So . . . Michigan is one of those states that has bastardized Washington's birthday in an effort to appease the progressives?

The following are the only American holidays there are:

New Year’s Day
Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Washington’s Birthday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day

The 10 years I worked as a golf pro, I got one day off a week and one holiday (Christmas) off. After that, I went to work for the state and was in hog heaven with all those holidays off.

My intent is to post holidays that are of real significance to patriotic Americans. I do it because the feds and/or the left wing media don't hold most of these holidays in reverence any longer. The results are that Americans are unaware of the day or the significance. That last statement may or may not apply in whole or in part or AT ALL to any particular month.;)

did you read my disclaimer.

additionally. How many men do you know named Calypso?

I don't know what your criteria is but technically Valentine's day is not originally American. neither is Groundhogs day according to some authorities.

The Maine might be the problem for you since its destruction took us into war. However, 274 sailors lost their lives.

not in my district. If most people are working that holiday day - my school is in service. We rarely get more than a single weekday day a month off during the school year.
