Update on an older news story

Thanksgiving weekend, I posted the horrific story of a grandmother throwing her 2 year old granddaughter down five stories at a Northern Virginia shopping mall. There has now been a hearing and there will be a decision tomorrow on an indictment.

It's hard for me to imagine that she won't be declared insane. I do believe in willful evil and this may be an example but the woman was being treated for mental illness for 10 years. :mad:

It's chilling, the description of her just looking down impassively at the scene below. No wonder her daughter can't even look at her.
I tend to care more about the effects of crazy, rather than WHY someone is crazy. :mad:

I know you mean but the courts have to consider the "why".
