Imagine tooling around on the ocean and seeing THAT beast appear! That's the kind of thing that gives people like me who grew up on the water nightmares.

The boat in the whirlpool. Is it going to be sucked in? Why can't it just start its engines and get out assuming there are people o board and the engine works? that's freaking scary. When will the whirlpool stop doing its thing?

I would imagine someone would have to be in the boat to start it's engines.

When will the whirlpool stop doing its thing?
When the entire ocean is drained or someone puts the stopper back in.

Well, if it is a floater, there is little to fear of it going down.
