“Senior Libyan rebel “officers” sold Hizballah and Hamas (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/subjects/p/palestinians/index.html) thousands of chemical shells from the stocks of mustard and nerve gas that fell into rebel hands when they overran Muammar Qaddafi’s military facilities in and around Benghazi, debkafile’s exclusive military and intelligence sources report. Word of the capture touched off a scramble in Tehran and among the terrorist groups (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorist_groups) it sponsors to get hold of their first unconventional weapons.

According to our sources, the rebels offloaded at least 2,000 artillery shells carrying mustard gas and 1,200 nerve gas shells for cash payment amounting to several million dollars. US and Israeli intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_intelligence) agencies have tracked the WMD consignments from eastern Libya as far as Sudan in convoys secured by Iranian agents and Hizballah and Hamas guards. They are not believed to have reached their destinations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, apparently waiting for an opportunity to get their deadly freights through without the US or Israel attacking and destroying them.

It is also not clear whether the shells and gases were assembled upon delivery or were travelling in separate containers. Our sources report that some of the poison gas may be intended not only for artillery use but also for drones which Hizballah recently acquired from Iran.

If true, this is very very bad news. With the Muslim Brotherhood involved in this fiasco, Obama's idiocy reaches new heights. If HAMAS does have them...they will use them.

And Hell will follow behind.

You're not kidding. Israel has a superb civil defense response to any WMD deployment, but even so, the use of chemical weapons in an urban environment could rack up a significant casualty count. Israel has absorbed an outrageous amount of abuse from Hamas and Hezbollah, but a mass casualty event might trigger a response that goes beyond anything done before, possibly even a mass expulsion of Arabs from the West Bank and Gaza, and to hell with what anyone else things.

Gosh, those silly high-strung rebels. We should be focused on their love of freedom, not this irrelevant side show.

We know what's going to happen; they attack Isreal, and Isreal nukes their worthless asses.

But of course later, the Moonbats blame Isreal

Uh, Mr. President, put your hand down...

Yes, who would expect doctors like Ayman al-Zawahiri, Bashir Assad or Nidal Hasan (or those lovely guys in Glasgow) of supporting violent jihad? And everyone knows how trustworthy lawyers are...

This may come off as disrespectful/heretical(the word I'm looking for escapes me), I do not mean it to so, but...

The stupidity and failure of foresight is so great, this must be Biblical.

No, the Bible has lots of stories of kings who were undone by their arrogance and stupidity. Admittedly, there would have had to have been a whole Book of Obama to cover the sheer volume of ineptitude and idiocy of this administration, but it would have made a great section of the Bible, with multiple references to the jawbone of an ass and his teleprompter.
