Also: "I can safely say that they will simply not be able to do anything and that this is the end of the road."

In his first press conference of the new year 1390 [Iranian New Year was on March 21] which took place on Monday evening, April 4th, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asserted that a new Middle East, without the specter of the Zionist regime, America and its proxies, is taking shape.

Ahmadinejad warned that the U.S. and its allies plan to partition Jordan under the guise of creating a Palestinian state which is in fact nothing more than an attempt to save the Zionist regime. He cautioned: “The governments and peoples of the region must be vigilant and aware, not to fall pray to the conspiracy and the deception of the U.S., its allies and the Zionist regime.”

Remarking on U.S. foreign policy, Ahmadinejad maintained that both the Bush and Obama administrations actually followed the very same course of action, and added: “If the previous U.S. president left office with his head hanging in shame, his successor will be leaving the political scene with more derision and humiliation.”
snip
The last U.S. administration very openly and publicly rolled out its tanks, cannons, machine guns and bullied its way into the field; the successor who then claimed to be for change has, on the one hand, the arms and military force and, on the other hand, the apparatus of deception and intrigue.”

It will be a miracle if this fool in the W.H. does not drag us into another conflict or war because our enemies know we have a weakling in office at the present time. They will never get a better opportunity to strike.

It's already started in Israel,Stage one of the new Arab Israeli war.Hezbollah is launching significant missile strikes just miles away on the outskirts of Tel Aviv..So far the new anti missile system is destroying most of them as they come in but that could change if Hezbollah decides to salvo them ..

And, the Arab League is now demanding that the UN enforce a no-fly zone over Gaza. Apparently, the interceptors are interfering with the right of Hamas to butcher civilians.

A Mideast without Ahmadinejad would be better.

A Mideast without Ahmadinejad would be better.

Working on it. First, we need a Washington without Obama, which should happen on 19 January 2013.

We already sort of tried that and didn't work out so well. As long as Iran is isolated (which they are) and watched things will take care of themselves. The current power structure had a pretty big scare a couple years ago and are getting another right now with the conflagration of revolution in the Midde East right now.

Getting involved in CIA uber-backlash shit is not a good idea, we should know that by now.

Iran? Isolated? What color is the sky in your world?

Iran controls Syria abd Lebanon. They receive arms and technology from Russia, China, North Korea and a host of other countries, in return for oil, and this guarantees that there will never be any meaningful sanctions against them in any international body. They conduct terrorist operations throughout the world, including in places that you'd never expect to see them (such as the bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires). Iranian Pasdaran troops have been caught attacking American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yeah, they're isolated, all right.

And that big scare turned out quite nicely for the mullahs. They managed to suppress the popular uprising while Obama dithered, demonstrating that the Iranian tyrants could do whatever they wanted without having to worry about American action.

You really just spout the latest lefty talking points without pausing to think about them, don't you?

I'm just saying, I'm not advocating any particular policy. Personally, I'm rather surprised that Moussad has not taken him out by this time.
