On the first anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the administration’s de facto moratorium, or “permitorium,” on offshore drilling has resulted in higher prices for gas and heating fuel in addition to costing thousands of Americans jobs and making the country more dependent on foreign oil.

Indeed, it appears that the administration has found in the Gulf disaster the justification for its political bias against domestic oil and gas production. Its the Democratic way..use government power to intentionally create a huge problem so that they can then run in with a government solution to that problem.

Obamas just paying back the tree hugger lobby for it's political swag !

An interesting theory As to why they're so dead set against our drilling our own oil is that they are secretly funded by the Saudi's to lobby against American oil independance .
