I think of cognac, brandy, and 'fortified' drinks as a winterish, solitary drinks or maybe something to have after skiing while waiting around with friends for the train or the ride. I wouldn't think of it as a celebration drink. Champagne would be my celebration drink.

It won't let me give you additional reputation points; you should get a gold star for that one. :p

You Should Celebrate with Beer
You are nurturing and supportive. You are the biggest cheerleader in your friends lives.
You are a truly loving person. You are affectionate and warm-hearted.

You are appreciative of all of the good things in your life. You count your blessings.
You are unselfish, humble, and altruistic. You get great joy from putting others first.

I don't see how that translates to beer. Beer is for barbecues and hot summer days; champagne is for celebration (particularly Pol Roger; their Cuvee Winston Churchill for major celebrations).

Good choice.

Pepsi on the rocks is not bad either, with a pizza.
