Was Thunder one of those bands like Saxon that was huge over in Europe but people weren't aware of much here? I only knew them because a girl I dated in 1990 was a huge fan of them.

That had to be an AWESOME show though. I think better than this one I went to in 1988 at the Meadowlands...

The Scorpions and KISS have done similar concerts with symphony orchestras backing them up. I even saw the Scorpions when they did the "Moments of Glory" 2 show tour here on the west coast....great show.

Thunder were a lot bigger here I guess, I think they probably only had the one big hit in the US.

It seems yesterdays music is so much better than today's music.

I reached a point in my life when I realised there was always going to be music I was never going to get round to listening to and books I would never get round to reading. So now I just listen to/ read stuff I enjoy and trust that anything really amazing will come to my attention somehow. :)
