Wait until the wife reads this! Just when you didn't think it could get worse, new X-rated text messages were made public today where Rep. Anthony Weiner got down and dirty with one of the women he had befriended on Facebook -- even telling her that he was prepared to travel to Nevada to bed her.

In a series of dirty chat messages dating back to Sept. 17, 2010, the kinky Weiner wrote to 40-year-old Lisa Weiss -- a Nevada blackjack dealer who went back and forth with Weiner on Facebook for more than a year -- that he was interested in meeting her.

"i'm ready for a vegas trip. truth telling during the day. got a night plan for us?" Weiner wrote, according to a transcript of 220 messages posted on RadarOnline.com.

Whither the Dems? Why NO call for Weiner to resign?

The behavior of the Democrat leadership after Weiner’s presser yesterday afternoon is probably MORE bizarre that the congressman’s risky behavior…sending lewd pics of himself to women in cyberspace. If you think about it, it makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. It is a LOSE/LOSE proposition for them. And thus, it’s reasonable to inquire if there is indeed something in the Dem/liberal DNA, psyche, ethos, whatever, that makes them behave in this way.

Comparisons have already been made as to how Boehner handled the fairly comparable Chris Lee incident. He was gone even before the scandal broke. Yet Chuck Schumer, Weiner’s political “rabbi” has been camera shy for the first time in his political life. ( Hey, maybe that’s ONE reason that conservatives should hope that Weiner stays in office.)

Every time a GOP elected offical has gotten into trouble becuase of sexual peccadillios, the Dems hav been loud and vociferous in their calls for resignation. And that’s understandable..politics ain’t beanbag, they hoped to gain political advantage from these incidents, and let’s be honest here..they were entitled to enjoy some schadenfreude watching those who campaign on “family values” squirm.

Clinton was different. They felt that they were defending the WH, their power base. It was an attempt to “kill the king.” However, in retrospect, it might have been the wrong decision from their point of view. Suppose senior Dems, acting on principal ( OK, OK, I know… it strains credulity..) early on, had strolled into the Oval Office, told Slick it was time to go. Gore would have been sworn it, and remember, in the pre 9/11 booming economy, he’d probably have beaten Bush in 2000. ( So maybe we owe Slick a big attaboy? It’s hard to imagine Gore running the War on Terror.

If he weren't married, would we care so much about this?

It's a serious question. I just wonder if people would mind as much if he were single.

Most people tend to Hire/elect mature, well spoken politicians to represent their interests in Washington and expect a certain type of honorable man who is above reproach .If you knew someone running for office was a registered sex offender would you vote for him ?Would you welcome him into your home ?

Weiner has been a marginal critter from day one.He screams, rants and raves in the halls of Congress to get his way and has been quick to find faults with the other party point of view .
He behaves more as a New York City street punk than a Congressman.

Congress was at one time an honorable institution with Honorable men reasoning together
and ariving at a well chosen compromise after debate. Some of these new Political critters run rough shod over the rules and procedures .When they do they make enemies and some have long memories.

When an honorable man makes a mistake of this magnitude and is found out he will resign
Weiner admits his guilt but refuses to resign therefore he is less than an honorable man.

It's a two way street .When the Conservatives have sexual deviate exposed in public the Progressives all scream their heads off and demand his resignation.Weiner doubly so as he screams the loudest and longest .He is hated because of his shrill big mouth and abrasive nature by both libs and repubs.

When he's caught with his pants down and lies about it they all zero in on him....Bretbart followed up on a lead just as the far left Lame Stream Media are supposed to do but now days they only go after Conservatives.

Weiner, married or single, is a A lecher who prays on young girls on the net. There are laws against seduction and entrapment of underage children .How could he know the actual age of thease young kids he was tweeting with .....More has come out and it looks like he has a history of this behavior .

It appears that he was texting X-rated messages on the taxpayers dime. In the real world, private sector, his ass would be gone. You know those moral clauses in contracts. Politician should be held to a higher standard rather than a lower standard. He has brought disrespect on the House of Representative. That should be enough with anyone with a brain that we care about our politicians since they affect our lives thru legislation. Whether he is married or not is immaterial. He should man up and resign.

FYI, this guy is a liar, pervert and needs mental help.

Using government resources, then yeah it should still be a big issue. My tax dollars are not meant to help him wet his wick.

This might be the tip of the iceberg. There will probably be more revelations to come.

Personally I hope so. He always struck me as a snivelling little rat, and would love nothing more then to see something like this bring him down.
