How did we miss this?

Roger Ailes, Fox News Chief: I'd Like To Hire Hillary Clinton

In Monday's interview, Ailes struck a more congenial tone, but he pushed back against some of the claims in the recent articles. He denied that he thought Palin was stupid, saying, "she's so smart she's got the press corps running up the whole East Coast behind her bus." And he called the reports of his heavy security detail "fantasy."

Ailes also said he'd like to hire Hillary Clinton as a Fox News contributor.
"She looks unhappy at the State Department," he said. "She'd get ratings."

Well, he's right: she would indeed get ratings. And the woman ain't stupid. She may be a lot of things, but she ain't stupid.

I wonder how well she'd work alongside Dick Morris and Karl Rove on election night coverage.

It may give WWE Smackdown a real run for its money!

I have always felt that the woman is incredibly smart. She is also quite likeable when she is herself and not spouting talking points and liberal ideology.

I think Clinton, like Condi Rice or Colin Powell, is way above doing the Fox News schtick. Her stature, reputation, and presense is such that selling soap on a political porn show would not happen.

Hey, Madcow & her would make a great team. Got enough crazy ass liberals on Fox now. No need to hire another one.

If it helped her in a way that she thought important, she would do it. I'd be interested in seeing her do a commentary show. I'd rather see her do it on Fox than a more left leaning program because I think she'd be challenged more, and I believe she'd be up for the challenge.

Please stop sticking up for that political whore, what stature, reputation or presence does she have after selling her dignity out when her husband got caught cheating? And not dumping him? NONE. ZIP. NADA. She would sell her soul to win the Presidency.

She'd be lucky to get a job at Fox. Really you dont have to stick up for every liberal out there.

I would not be interested in seeing her period. She is a die in the wool leftist/socialist/ liberal. Anyone that thinks she has done a good job in the M.E. needs their head examined. That part of the world is blowing up in our faces. They don't want our troops there nor our aid nor our oil companies. She has been ineffective as a Sect. of State. In private, the sand monkeys laugh at her/us behind our back. They do not respect women and that is a fact. I don't want her challenged on Fox. Let her go on the Obledick/Madcow show. This woman is just as dangerous as Obama is and there is not a dime's worth of difference in their policies.

He's a fanboy for anything we think is a good idea. He's the forum Monica Lewinsky for any DNC/Libtard cause. He can't help himself.

On most political threads he just picks the exact opposite position and really drives it home.

Definitely an annoyance. It distracts from the real conversation where the right point of view can be discussed and agreed upon.

If he doesn't like it...

<--- DU is that way.

There's a reason the sign on the door of this place says "Conservative"

If he doesn't like what? I thought we were having a good discussion about what an annoyance his divergent point of view is, and what a distraction he is to an otherwise homogeneous exchange of ideas.
