Breaking: ATF heeds Issa's 'no retaliation' warning by...retaliating
Perhaps this will be the catalyst that will prompt Chairman Issa to begin issuing contempt citations, if not to begin the process for demanding a special prosecutor.
That's the word from Jay Dobyns, himself a subject of Bureau retaliation, in a post on CleanUpATF.....Gun Rights Examiner reported on Cefalu in May of last year--He was the agent assigned to do nothing because he came forward to complain about ATF mismanagement.
From Dobyns post:
What they have done is disguised reprisal and retaliation as something else to fire him...ATF has done everything within their power to break this agent. They have been proactive in the destruction of his reputation, killed his career, ruined his personal finances and have had emmense negative influence on his personal relationships and family members.
Why? Because he didn't go along to get along. He didn't shut his mouth when ordered to. He didn't sit back like a coward when he saw things being done wrong, unethically and illegally. Now they are proposing to take the last thing they still have control over but, have yet to act on, his job.
I will say this from personal experience; Vince will stand in the path of a bullet for any good person and do so knowing the personal consequence could be grave but, at the same time being true to his character which is to stand up for people who can't or won't stand up for themselves. I have seen him do it on more than one occasion. And, when I say "bullet" I mean a projectile, AND, all the other various means and methods of attack that could be characterized as a bullet.

Holder waffles under oath & new Grassley-Issa letter slams DOJ's "false statements." ATF agents jeer at Holder weasel testimony.
Eric Holder: “You have to understand the way in which the department operates. . . This has gotten a great deal of publicity.”
Darrell Issa: “There are dead Americans as a result of this of this failed and reckless program, so I would say it hasn’t gotten enough attention, has it Mr. Attorney General?” -- Testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee today.
CBS: "Attorney General Eric Holder grilled by Congress on ATF "Gunwalker" controversy."
Appearing today before the House Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Eric Holder got grilled about the "gunwalker" controversy in which the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is accused of allowing guns to get into the hands of criminals in Mexico. (Scroll down to watch video of Holder's testimony)
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) used asked Holder when first knew about the controversial Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) operation known as "Fast and Furious." Though documents indicate Fast and Furious was started in 2009, Holder told Congress he only learned of it a "few weeks" ago.
That's after a CBS News investigation into allegations about Fast and Furious and other gun trafficking cases. Issa also asked who at the Department of Justice, if not Holder, approved Fast and Furious. Holder stated that he didn't know, but that investigations are underway to find that out

Come on Grassley---- Release the hounds....
DHS Chief Napolitano says she was not aware of agency's link to ATF "gun running"
Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano today said she knew nothing of her agency's possible involvement in a controversial ATF operation called "Fast and Furious."
In that operation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives allegedly intentionally allowed vast numbers of assault weapons to fall into the hands of Mexico's drug cartels. Insiders call it letting guns "walk."
Sources say the idea was apparently to see where the guns ended up in hopes of somehow taking down a major cartel. But numerous law enforcement officials say the practice of letting guns walk is normally strictly forbidden, because while investigators are waiting to see where they end up, they can be used in violent crimes.
Sources tell CBS News and documents indicate that an agent from U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was working in the ATF group tasked to Fast and Furious. The Department of Homeland Security oversees ICE. Today, Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Napolitano about that at a hearing before the Judiciary Committee.
Gunrunning scandal at the ATF
"I'm not aware of that particular agent," answered Napolitano. She also said that she's become aware of ATF's Fast and Furious operation "in the wake of the murders of Terry and Zapato."
"Did you sign off on this operation, and if so, when?" Grassley asked.
"No," said Napolitano, "this is within the Justice Department."

Laura Ingraham Show - Sen. Grassley On ATF

Video: Grassley unleashes on Holder, ATF on Senate floor
Obama Administration, the Holder Justice Department and the ATF in particular, in a speech on the Senate floor yesterday. The video of the speech is to your left at the top of the column.
Grassley is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of cooperation of the Department of Justice and top officials of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosvies (the ATF) as he attempts to gather information, documents, and evidence concerning the 'Project Gunwalker' gun smuggling scandal during which rogue ATF agents placed U.S. guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels in order to 'prove' American guns are arming the cartels. The resultant false statistics about such guns allegedly would then be used by the Obama Administration to justify calling for strict gun control measures, according to whistleblower agents of the ATF who blew the lid on the illegal scheme.
The scandal has grown so serious that the Mexican government is furious over the program, referred to by many as 'Operation Fast and Furious' and 'Project Gunrunner,' that it is being described by some within the ATF as an 'international incident.' Barack Obama felt the need to address the issue several weeks ago when he stated in an interview that he did not give approval of the scheme. He further stated that Eric Holder did not give approval of the scheme. What the President did not say, however, is whether or not he and Holder knew about Project Gunwalker and failed to call a halt to it.

THE ATF AND THE REGIME BEING INVESTIGATED
The ATF even sent out a NON-COOPERATION memo to their employees that Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa got ahold of. This is a scandal that involves this ENTIRE regime, from Obama, to the DOJ, ATF, DOS, and the DHS!
Criminals like Holder along with idiot rubber stampers like Napolitano, who are incompetent from the outset, usually get themselves in hot water before too long. The old adage of: "give someone enough rope and they'll hang themselves," has been proven true, time and time again. Remember that Holder was the pardon dealer for BJ Bubba and the defender of terrorists now currently lodged at Gitmo, so he's already working against our national interests by keeping Democrat criminals and their terrorist buddies out of prison or the execution chamber where most of them belong anyway.
EXCERPT: "According to investigative blogger Mike Vanderboegh, investigators from the House and Senate have descended on Arizona en mass on a mission to discover the evidence and the truth concerning the ATF's gun smuggling scandal. This was also reported by CBS News. The Congressional action, unprecedented in modern times, comes on heels of continued stonewalling by Attorney-General Eric Holder, the Department of Justice and its Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security. U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, R-California, has become so frustrated by the outright refusal of the Obama Administration to provide requested documents that he informed the Justice Department yesterday that unless Holder cooperates and provides the material for the investigation, then the entire DOJ will be held in contempt."
This scandal is the result of Americans who KNOW right from wrong, inside the beast, blowing the whistle on the regime's efforts to get guns to the cartels and then blame US gun dealers in order to cause a crisis (never let a good crisis go to waste) that would result in our Second Amendment Right being limited by a SCOTUS that now that two unqualified liberal idiots on it, who owe their allegiance to Little Boy Barry, NOT the USA. Now, from Holder on down, they're doing the same thing that the Clinton's did, stonewalling while they shred and burn.
Darrell Issa plans to hold the entire DOJ in contempt over this and they would have to cough up the documents! The Gunny hopes that inside the DOJ, there are still American patriots who KNOW that this scandal is WRONG and that those responsible MUST PAY! and thus, provide the requested documents instead of deleting, burning, or shredding them, as liberal criminals usually do.
The ATF scandal, called, "Operation Fast and Furious," put AUTOMATIC weapons in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels and other enemies across the southern border! One has to wonder WHY liberals ALWAYS aid and comfort our enemies, not unlike Henry Waxman helping Code pink send AID to terrorists fighting against US Marines in Fallujah (which Bush did nothing about).
