Any rumors are surely fueled by the Democratic Party's desire to elect the first real man to Congress they have in decades. It would be something they could truly be proud of for a change.

Just for the record, I think that AP release has been misinterpreted here. I think their gripe is with folks like Huffington Post, et al. I understand the prudent approach here, but if AP is gonna start going after small blogs and forums for this stuff, they better have a $5,000,000,000,000 legal budget. I would submit that their presser regarding this issue suggests that they are worried about the next payroll and electric bill.

I'm just sayin'.

Since the AP in it's wisedom has decided to be dicks, lets
all refrain from posting anything from AP.

Their position. (http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5iO1lXvuwZy22TEB2sYrwIrV1V40w)

A thanks to Lanie for sending me this link!!! :)

Not saying you're wrong, I'm just suggesting that AP is more worried about the big fish (ie Huffington, Breitbart, Drudge, etc.) who have mass redistribution. If AP starts going after blogs and message boards, they are already out of business.

At any rate, members here should defer to the mods and owners. This is all just my own informed opinion.

That's your way of saying she'll have a harder time saying "not tonight" for a while, isn't it?

That's a bonus I hadn't considered. He can eat Italian without complaints later. You should be a marriage counselor.

Most boards don't want to take a chance to be the unlucky one targeted. At a recent HOA (Homeowners Association) meeting, one of the troublemakers who has already sued our board asked me directly from the floor if I would be on the board if they didn't have insurance to cover us. I said flat out "No". I said that "someone like you might sue us again and I'm not losing my house over it".

Jen, there was nothing intended against you by citing the AP rules. I've posted stuff then noticed that it was AP and modified it myself. It's really crappy that they have to be like that, but there are stories all the time when Goliaths go after the Davids of the world. We have too much going on in real life to have to contend with the AP.

No worries, SLW. It's cool. Here's a link (http://www.azcentral.com/news/election/azelections/articles/2011/07/01/20110701giffords-mark-kelly-future-not-politics.html) to a non-AP story.
