In reply to our resident AGW panic mongers, who are here to tell us all that the world will end, that there will be outbreaks of dengue fever,black plague, the seas will rise, dogs and cats will live together in harmony..I present this in reply.

I am pleased to advise it has been suitably "peer reviewed".

I peered at it, reviewed it and liked it.

Kind of gives the lie to "we must act now" "we only have ten years left"...this was in 1990..eighteen years ago. If it was such a crisis then...what happened between then and now?

Where are the sea level rises?
The plagues?
The disasters?
The islands sinking into the seas?
The melting ice caps that would turn the world into Waterworld?
The searing heat that would fry us all into omelettes with roasted pommes de terres as a side dish?
This bleating about the "bleached" Barrier Reef is the same as the last garbage in 1990..its still there.

So what happened? Mother Nature give you a rain check?

"The Loch Ness monster died from Global Warming" - change brands.

Or is it, as many now believe, that the whole thing is a LIE?

How about you answer my questions.

Those videos are from 1990. 100 + 18 = 2008 = if it was a major catastrophe then....why aren't we all swimming to work?

I don't subscribe to the idea that global warming has to be catastrophic. In fact, I suspect that a lot of places stand to benefit from global warming. What I subscribe to is the idea that global warming is happening and that it is largely due to human activities.

And here is were we differ. I can accept the evidence for climate change, but I have yet seen nothing that remotely indicates it is mans doing. Industrial Age + Warmer Earth = Man's fault. Eat Oranges + Cancer = Citrus causes cancer.

Do you think that the Sun may contribute a little heat, huh ?Or is it all that nasty all powerfull and mighty little human animal who isn't able to do as much damage to the planet as nature's own natural cycles ?
