It's one of the world's most aggressive and dangerous spiders. Its bite can lead to pain, paralysis and even death. And having shut down a local supermarket, the arachnid may be wandering the streets of Bexbach, Germany (http://www.foxnews.com/topics/germany.htm#r_src=ramp).

While unpacking a crate of bananas, a supermarket employee was shocked to see a spider emerge from the box and scuttle under a shelf. Upon scouring the Internet for pictures of the creature, the employee reported that he had seen a Brazilian Wandering Spider -- one of the most dangerous spiders in the world.

If you ever want to see a 300lb. man run from a room screaming like a little girl at a Justin Bieber concert, put me in the same room with this creature.

We actually got one in a box of Bananas here in our store. It was drowgy from the gases they flush the bananas with, but still alive.

Its more common then you think that these things hitchhike in banana boxes. They hide in the bunches in the wild waiting for prey, and as a result. They tend to get boxed up and shipped with them.

Usually they die from ether the gas flush, or the cold shipping rooms, but occasionally one does survive.

Simple rule, squish don't touch.

You gotta love the photo's caption:

For some insects the bite is worse than the bark.

Someone failed biology class I think.

Impressive, most impressive!!!
Banana Spider...

A very large common spider in North America. Usually hangs in webs with its head facing the ground. It is brightly colored. Its venom is a neurotoxin similar to that of the black widow. However, its venom is not near as potent. Its bite causes local pain and redness with blisters forming. This bite usually resolves within 24 hours except for the bite mark.

Impressive looking, but wimpy compared to the Brazilian Banana Spider.
